Summer Solstice today, I celebrated by dragging a friend out for some drawing. We drove out to the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks or the Ballard Locks. Gorgeous day!

walked down to Pike Place Market Wednesday morning, and discovered that Seattle is getting a ferris wheel on the waterfront

we went to Folklife festival last weekend at Seattle Center, the weather was incredible! at this stage with the mosaic backdrop we were oh so close to the needle

thought I would take on some complicated architecture last Saturday at Kevens. I used his floor to ceiling window as a frame for my drawing, then I futzed around with proportion so long I lost my view to glare on the windows as the sun crept in.......learning
